This training provides informative and interactive Gang training to organizations, state agencies (Social Services, Court Services, Community Services, etc...) This training is led by a certified Gang Specialists. The learning objectives of this training include the following:
1. Understand the nature and culture of gangs
2. Key indicators of gang involvement & communication
3. How to conduct yourself around gang involved/affiliated individuals
This program is provided in a group setting and is a collaborative conversation between our educators and youth between the ages of 14 and 21. This training is appropriate for all youth regardless of whether they are in foster care, live with their biological parents, or reside in a group home. Youth in this program will learn about: Maintaining healthy relationships, Work and study habits, Planning and goal-setting, Using community resources, Daily living activities, Budgeting and paying bills and Computer literacy
This program is designed to connect with students that participate and engage in inappropriate and negative bullying behavior the necessary skills and opportunities to alter their mindset, actions and their life. Through this program, students are introduced skills that allow them to communicate effectively, resolve conflict, develop positive relationships, build character and address personal issues within themselves that may attribute to their negative bullying behavior. At the conclusion of this program, these students will show an increase in self-esteem, a renewed mindset and positive connections to natural supports with security and stability at the forefront.
The purpose of the program is to engage young men in honest, open dialogue that addresses unwanted aggression, fatherlessness, and lack of moral character. In addition, this program also incorporates exercises that promote integrity and incentives for academic success in challenging the negative mentality regarding school. This program also promotes character building and the development of masculinity.
This program is designed to address specific issues that affect the communication health of the family to help prevent issues in the home that are centered around miscommunication. This program aims to promote understanding and collaboration among family members in order to solve the problems of one or more individuals. Some of the goals of this program include: Providing strategies for handling conflict, improving and strengthening relationships, providing skills for coping with challenging situations and offering new insight and understanding. As a result, the family discovers the source of the problem, they learn to support each family member while working proactively on minimizing the varying conditions that may endorse the family member's unwanted behavior.
